From December 3rd Nankai Electric Railway’s Namba Station will use CEO Mukaiya’s adaptation of the “Nankai Hawks anthem” as train departure melody!

Nankai Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (hereon Nankai Railway) will be using a departure melody arranged by our CEO Mukaiya on Platforms 5 and 6 of Nankai Railway Namba station starting from December 3rd 2025 (Wed).
The introduction of this departure melody is part of the special event “Nankai Hawks exhibition ~Legacy into the Future~” held to celebrate Nankai railways 140th corporate anniversary, and it features the original Nankai Hawks baseball team anthem.
The details regarding the departure melody are as follows:
【Namba Station train departure melody “Nankai Hawks anthem” outline】
1. Period: From December 3rd, 2025 onwards
2. Location: Namba Station Platforms 5 and 6.
※On the first day, it will be introduced starting from platform 5 with the 9:45 “Southern” limited express train and on platform 6 with the train departing at 9:51, and subsequently all the departing train.
3. Details: a section of the baseball team song from the time of the Nankai Hawks “Nankai Hawks anthem” will be used as a departure melody on platforms 5 and 6.
Please note that the use of the departure melody is limited to the boarding area of platform
