On 9/20 (national bus day), to celebrate the 120th anniversary of national bus service, the Japan bus association Published a commemorative advertisement page“120 years of Japan bus” containing a special interview between the association’s director Mr. Shimizu (CEO of Iyotetsu group) and our CEO Mr. Mukaiya on three major newspapers: the Asahi Shimbun, Nikkei Shimbun and morning Yomiuri Shimbun.
The two discussed their personal thoughts about the bus service, and suggestions regarding its future.
Furthermore, they also introduced the book “New Transit-oriented Nation :The Future of Public Bus” (Jihyosha publishing) penned by Director Shimizu and released on the same day.
