Nippon Signal Co.,Ltd. SPARCS simulator

This is an exhibition simulator that illustrates the safety radio system "SPARCS" that Nippon Signal Co.,Ltd. is developing. It simulates the SPARCS on JR Kyushu's Chikuhi line; the system reads the position of the user's train and the one preceding it and automatically readjusts the pattern in real-time depending on the distance between the two, and regulates the speed to be able to stop a few metres away from it. In addition, it elaborates the speed limit and temporary speed, TASC etc., and visualises all the conditions graphically on the prepared display. The scenarios include stopping the train when it is getting closer to the one preceding it, emergency stop due to the radio system failing on the simulator train, or the same emergency but in the preceding train.
