- Kyushu Railways Driver/Conductor training simulator
Kyushu Railways Driver/Conductor training simulator
It provides both independent and coordinated training for drivers and conductors. The driver’s console is a remodelling of the simplified ATS-DK training simulator that was introduced in 2011, adding several emergency solving simulations. The conductor’s unit is of new construction and it includes the left side and back views and the switches that are in the real conductor’s car. Depending on the chosen settings, the crew can do emergency training at the stations or shorten the simulation time by skipping the section between stations. It was introduced in all the crew offices by June of 2019.
