East Japan Railways Shinkansen/Conventional line dual use Driver/Conductor training simulator

Created for the Tohoku, Joetsu, Hokuriku, Yamagata, Akita Shinkansen lines, it provides both coordinated and single training for drivers and conductors. Thanks to a special mechanism, it is possible to switch the master controller so that it can be used not only for the Shinkansen but for conventional trains too. For the frontal view of the driver we used HD footage, while the conductor’s side views and ITV are full CGI. We reproduced the scenery with fidelity and in high definition, so that it is no different from using real footage. In March 2020 we completed the delivery in all the East Japan Railways Shinkansen Crew offices.
