Chikuhi line 103 Series oneman driver simulator

This simulator was developed for exhibition at the 4^th Mass-Trans Innovation Japan (2015) in collaboration with Kyushu Railway company, and it simulates oneman operation of the 103 Series train on the Chikuhi line.
The driver’s console is made with real parts, and during the exhibition it was used to demonstrate the operation of Ongakukan’s Lightweight bar-type platform doors.
When stopping at Kyudaigakkentoshi station during the simulation, one can see the platform doors that were added via CG, as they had not yet been installed at the time.
